Question about updating my video card drivers?

If I have a overclocked graphics card, and I update my drivers, does it erase the overclock done to it? It's a BFG NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT OC. So the overclock was done to it before I bought it, I dont want to update any drivers and end up not having it overclocked anymore. Thanks.|||the card should run on the same frequency regardless of the drivers|||If you have an "OC" model it is over-clocked at the factory on a hardware level. I have the 8800 model of that card and have not had any issues when I update the drivers.
