Laptop monitor resolution changed when I updated video card drivers?

I updated the video card driver for NVidia Gefore 7300 on my Toshiba Qosmio G35-AV600 laptop and now the maximum resolution I can set the screen to is 1280 x 854 pixels, while the monitor actully is a 1440 x 900 pixels. Therefore the picture is all fuzzy. I have tried messing around in the Monitor settings without luck, can anyone help?|||Did you uninstall old driver first?You must uninstall old one BEFORE installing newer one.|||Try changing the video card settings, maybe?
