Is the video card the only factor for computer graphics quality?

Hi, I'm just wondering, I'm doing a little upgrade fo my old computer, and been wanting to update to new better parts, and I dont know whether I should get a very good card (9800GTX+) or a 9800GTAnd my computer only supports 2gb ram, so I dont want to spend more money than i haver to.

So, to recap and simplify, If i buy a very good graphics card, with average computer parts, will I still get very good graphics?|||Yes. They will perform better. You should get a 9800GT not the + because you wont be able to tell the difference in quality with those lower quality parts|||Depends on if the games meet your processor requirements. What kind of CPU do you have?
