Pci express video card question?

I have an e machines computer. And it uses PCI express video cards. I want to update my video card so i can play the desperate housewives game. on the box it says it needs (NVIDIA GeForce 3 or equivalent) and i dont wanna spend a fortune so will a NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS Video Card 256MB DVI PCI Express work? it is only like 25 bucks on ebay. so would that work?|||A geforce3 series card is 6 generations old now so an 8 series(8400gs) card will work just fine I would think!|||Yes, that would work
