Help with video cards and drivers?

I had some graphic card issues lately but got them fixed up nicely. However during the process of the guy helping me he asked this, " Do you use the HP video card drivers or the Nvidia drivers?" I use nvidia site to update my gpu and stuff, but how do I check to see which drivers I am using? Thanks!|||Go to your Device Manager under the control panel, and right click on your Display adapter for driver version|||If you have a Computer Company...built PC..you can only use their drivers..

HP,,DELL,SONY,,supply the drivers for the video card they delivered..

If you added your own..x16 PCIe video card..upgrade..

Use the CD..that came with your product..

Then go look for the driver updates--or--upgrades..at the manufacture's website../|||If you don't known which driver updates you should take, try some driver detective software, they can detect your computer and decide which drivers should be updated and do the installation automatically. and it's absolutely safe, good luck!
