How to update a video or graphics card?

I currently have a Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family and it is on Windows XP Media. I'm not quite sure how to get an update or a better video card for my computer. I play a game online and this was one of the things suggested to make it run faster.|||you cant generally upgrade graphics on a laptop. they're soldered into the motherboard. There are some add-ons you can use but they are very expensive. to find out more google:

asus xg station

vidock

you wont get change out of $400 for either though.|||If you're using a laptop, it's very unlikely you'll be able to upgrade your video card. If you have a desktop, that's a whole different situation. Do a google search on your motherboard (or desktop specs) to find out what type of graphics slot you have (i.e. AGP, PCI Express x16, etc.) and buy a video card that uses that interface.
