When i update my Video Card resolution changes, is this bad?

I updated my Video Card last time, i rebooted my computer and started fine. But my resolution changed is this bad? Because i don't have the answer so i reversed it. Is this bad or something?|||No, It is not bad and Yes you can change your resolution.
