I just bought the sims 3 and my computer wont let me play it. a message pops up saying i need to update my video card, needs to have a shader model of at least 2.
1) what is a video card?
2) where is the best place to buy a video card at a reasonable price?
3) how do i know what video card suits my computer?
4) how would i then put the card in the computer?

3. 2 types of video card. AGP and PCI-e. you need to buy it according to motherboard. details here. u need 10 minutes to find out. easy

get 8 or 9 class video card. i suggest 9500gt or 9600gt or 9800gt.|||ATI are great graphics cards and and the newer ATI cards can run sims3
