My video card was working fine, but then i updated to windows 7 and its not working anymore?

I'm not very 'up there' with all the computer details, but I got my dad to look at it too and he couldn't work it out. Just wondering if any one else has had this problem? I only found out about the problem, because When windows 7 got installed, everything else got wiped off my computer. Now I want to install Sims 3 back on to my computer, and it says the video card is not good enough? But it worked on windows XP?|||Hi there,
