Can I update my VIDEO RAM from 256MB to 1GB on a laptop?

My video card is Nvidia 7400 with a 256mb and I want to increase the memory by buying a new card to replace, that possible?|||No, you can't ! Video (graphic) card is integrated in the motherboard, so upgrading is not possible !|||Not in laptop, size is different it wont fit, cooling will be effected as it was not designed for that laptop. Voltage and wattage of the new card will be higher etc.|||Nope, you can't update laptop video cards or add RAM to them. They are part of the MOBO & as such are not an upgradeable part....|||You could try an external graphics card such has Asus XG Station
